Tigrinya (ትግርኛ) is an Ethio-Semitic language commonly spoken in Eritrea and in northern Ethiopia's Tigray Region by the Tigrinya and Tigrayan peoples. It is also spoken by the global diaspora of these regions.
Habesha, deeply rooted in Ethiopian and Eritrean culture, is a term used to represent the indigenous people and their traditions. It encompasses a rich tapestry of customs, languages, arts, and history, reflecting a diverse and vibrant heritage.
Zuria pattern, a significant element within Habesha culture, is a traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean clothing design characterized by its intricate, elegant, and often handwoven details. - turn the item inside out to protect the embroidery.
- try to not wash the item with other clothing that might cause damage, such as zippers or buttons.
- choose a mild detergent.
- if possible, allow the item to air dry. This will prevent any shrinking that might occur.
- if the embroidery features bright colors, a gentle wash in cold water can reduce the chance of colors bleeding.
