Welcome to our charity page! We believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that make a difference in the world. Here are some of the organizations we support:

  • Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of Illinois Institute of Technology: SJP is a student-led organization that advocates for justice and freedom for the Palestinian people. They work to educate their campus community and raise awareness about the ongoing occupation and human rights violations in Palestine.

  • SJP in California (CSUS): Similar to the above organization, SJP at CSUS advocates for the rights of Palestinians and works to raise awareness about the ongoing injustices they face.

  • Al-Sama Al A7mar: This organization is a Sudanese showcase that helps bring the Sudanese Diaspora together. They showcase Sudanese culture, art, and music while also raising awareness about the political and humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

  • Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA): SAPA is a nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian relief on the ground during the Sudanese crisis. They provide medical assistance, food, and shelter to those affected by the crisis.

  • Arab Conference at Harvard Refugee Fundraisers: The Arab Conference at Harvard is a student organization that raises funds for refugee organizations that work to support displaced communities.

  • Student Organization for Syria at Michigan State University: This organization is dedicated to raising awareness about the ongoing conflict in Syria and providing support to Syrian refugees.

  • Yemeni Student Organization at Michigan State University: Similar to the above organization, the Yemeni Student Organization at Michigan State University raises awareness about the ongoing conflict in Yemen and provides support to Yemeni refugees.

  • Egyptian Union at New York University: This organization celebrates Egyptian culture and heritage while also raising awareness about current events and issues affecting Egypt.

  • Various GoFundMe Campaigns: We also support various GoFundMe campaigns that align with our values and mission. These campaigns range from supporting Black-owned businesses to providing aid to communities affected by natural disasters.

Charitable Giving Breakdown: How Your Support Helped Us Make a Difference

Support Emergency Relief Efforts in Sudan, 2023

Update: We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generosity in supporting our Emergency Relief fund for Sudan. We are delighted to inform you that, with your help, we were able to make a significant contribution to the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) to assist in their efforts to provide aid and support to those affected by the crisis.

As you may be aware, deadly clashes between the Sudanese army and a paramilitary group have broken out in the capital Khartoum. Civilians have already lost their lives, and with the violence continuing, many more are at risk. During this time of crisis, we want to do our part in helping those affected by the conflict in Sudan.

We are proud to announce that 100% of the proceeds from all purchases made during this week (4/19 - 4/27) will be donated to the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA)'s Emergency Relief fund for Sudan. SAPA is on the ground right now, and your support is urgently needed to provide supplies and humanitarian relief to victims of this conflict.

Our brothers and sisters in Sudan are suffering and need medical supplies and medicine. By supporting this cause, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by the crisis. We urge you to act now during this blessed month of Ramadan and show your support for the Sudanese people.

Ramadan in Sudan, 2021

This year we will be donating 50% of our profits throughout Ramadan to help support our families back home in Sudan.

Each contribution will help distribute food packages to over 1000 families across the city of Khartoum and the towns of Berber and Sennar.

Please help to ensure that the members of our community break their fast sufficiently after a day of abstaining from food and water and earn the equal reward of sawm.

Proceeds will be donated to Ramadan in Sudan, a fundraiser organized by Sarah Eldereri. More details can be found on our website. May all of our efforts be accepted insha’Allah. Happy fasting!

Sudan COVID-19 Emergency Fund

Update: Campaign raised up to $12,308!!!

With the rapid rise in Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases worldwide and in fatalities, some countries, such as Sudan are unfortunately less prepared than others. Sudan is a country that has struggled with economic instability for decades and is inexplicably unprepared to deal with a virus outbreak. Sudan has limited resources and infrastructure to respond to a pandemic so it is vital that we invest in awareness and preventive efforts now!

Currently, a collection of organizations are working together to raise funds to support initiatives that are currently working on COVID-19 awareness and prevention in Sudan. These efforts include:

-The University of Sudan’s Chemistry Department has been creating thousands of hand sanitizers, disinfectant sprays and hand sanitizing wipes in the university lab to  distribute to those in need. 

- Organizations, such as, Fil-a-heart, Sudanese Diaspora Network (SDN), the Sudanese American Collective (SAC), MovingForwardSudan (MFS), and the Sudanese Youth Network (SYN) are helping raise funds to providing essential clean water, food, and electricity in efforts to help those quarantine safety . 

Alongside these organizations, we plan on donating 20% of our Sudan Apparel proceeds until the end of the campaign to help reach the $6,000 goal! For more information about the campaign, click here.

Refugee Fundraiser (2019-2021)

Update: As the fundraiser has ended, we will still be selling our Lebanon collection for those interested.

Update: HAAA Refugee Fundraiser was able to raise $28,000 USD to help serve 1000+ refugee families in Lebanon. As of last week, 570 food baskets have been distributed to Syrian and Palestinian families and will continue throughout Ramadan until 1000+ families (over 6000 people total) have been reached!

Update: 4/14/20: In light of COVID-19, Arab Conference at Harvard (ACH) fundraiser has necessarily been postponed, yet the needs of refugees remain, and are escalating seriously. COVID-19 has unleashed extreme challenges in refugee communities, with food insecurity becoming more critical by the day.

 Prior to the pandemic, refugee families suffering from poverty were already disproportionately impacted by the economic crisis in Lebanon. With the COVID-19 lockdown, many have no access to food, and are facing increased homelessness, medical shortages, and the looming threat of COVID-19. In particular, refugee parents are desperately unable to feed their children. Which is why we plan on donation 100% of our Lebanon collection design to ACH. Each purchase from our collection will help feed families for 2-4 weeks.
